Dr. Alex zur Linden is an Associate Professor in Diagnostic Imaging, Diagnostic Imaging service chief, and the Residency Director. Graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Alex pursued a rotating small animal internship at the Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura, California. This was followed by a diagnostic imaging residency in Ames, Iowa at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Alex’s research interests include ultrasound simulation, 3D printing in medicine, computed tomography, and interventional procedures. Clinical interests primarily include interventional radiology and computed tomography. When not at work Alex spends time exercising (CrossFit style) and hanging out with his daughter and wife, two dogs, and two cats.
Dr. zur Linden is a member of the Rapid Prototyping for Patient Specific Implants in Dogs (RaPPID) and Kennel to Cure teams at the OVC.
