Monica Jensen

Dr. Monica Jensen is an Assistant Professor in Diagnostic Imaging. Monica is a 2014 graduate from the Ontario Veterinary College, who then completed a one-year rotating small animal internship at the Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Service in Rochester, New York. She then finished the four-year Diagnostic Imaging residency at the Ontario Veterinary College while concurrently completing a Doctor of Veterinary Science focused on radiation safety. Following a 6-month break living in and exploring Newfoundland and Labrador, Monica returned to the Ontario Veterinary College to begin her faculty position. Monica’s research interests include veterinary student teaching and learning, radiation safety, and neuroimaging, and she has a special clinical interest in interventional radiology. Monica is the chair of the ACVR Radiation Safety Committee. When she is not at work, she enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
